We at Attendo are looking for dedicated nursing assistants for our elderly care home Vikaholms allé in Växjö. The facility focuses on Outdoor Activities & Gardening and offers a safe and pleasant environment for our clients. There are 54 apartments spread over three floors, focusing on dementia and somatic care.

About the role

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our clients. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our clients. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a significant part of your role, as well as being able to contribute various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the facility's routines based on the individual needs and wishes of the client

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Documenting and working based on decided interventions

• Collaborating with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer literacy

Meritorious:

• Experience from care work in elderly care

• Experience with delegation.
