Our mission is to provide all residents of Kronoberg County with specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We aim to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

The Psychosis Unit consists of a specialist psychiatric inpatient care with 14 beds and two outpatient clinics, one in Växjö and one in Ljungby, following the National Board of Health and Welfare's national guidelines. Our work is characterized by a person-centered model and a cognitive approach, accessibility, and a holistic view of patients' situations, where the needs of the patient and their family are the foundation. We care for people with psychotic disorders and also take care of patients with concurrent neuropsychiatric issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caregiver in the psychosis department, you have the opportunity to work from a holistic perspective, where you play an important role in both psychiatric and somatic healthcare.

We are organized into two care teams, where we work closely with patients. As a caregiver, you are often the one closest to the patient in collaboration with various professionals.

Your tasks include psychiatric and somatic care and treatment work where you actively contribute to the patient's well-being through documentation, meaningful patient conversations, contact with relatives, and collaboration with the patient's network. We use Cambio Cosmic as our documentation system to ensure safe patient documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained caregiver or nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on psychiatry. We consider it an advantage if you have extensive experience working in psychiatry. Your passion and commitment are valuable to us, and we encourage a positive work climate where you contribute to a pleasant working environment. As a person, you are flexible and have a natural ability to handle different situations well. You thrive in a varied workday and are open to occasionally covering and helping in our other nearby departments.

Within psychiatry, you are not just a professional caregiver but also an important part of the care process as a personal resource. The way you meet others is important to us, and you handle relationships, experiences, and feelings created in meetings well. Your professional security and ability to make independent decisions are crucial for your success in your role.
