JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in Ljungby Municipality's home care, you will have a varied and developing workday and have the privilege of personal meetings with patients in their home environment, both in regular and special housing. You will independently plan your shifts within the team you work with.

As a nurse, you will provide advanced care at home based on the nursing process and leadership, encompassing both nursing and medical care. You will collaborate with various professional groups within municipal and regional operations. Guidance for patients, relatives, and care staff is a significant part of your work.

Your working hours will be day/evening with weekend duty every fifth weekend. We work according to a fixed 10-week schedule that is planned with your preferences in focus as much as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse passionate about developing person-centered care
• Has good computer skills and a B driver's license
• Sees themselves as part of a whole and enjoys working in a team
• Can work independently and prioritize to ensure patient-safe care
• Shows respect for others, is engaged, and is innovative
• Sees solutions where others see problems, e.g., when the GPS sends you to the wrong address.

It is an advantage if you have specialist training as a district nurse, in palliative care, or elderly care. Additionally, experience in home care is a merit.
