Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. The care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

The specialist psychiatry for children, youth, and adults provides modern and specialized psychiatric care in collaboration with relatives and other caregivers. A good working environment with motivated and competent employees is a prerequisite for us to succeed in our mission. The operations are organized into specialized units where staff work based on integrated teams, outpatient care, and inpatient care that follow the patient throughout the care chain. Our mission is to conduct specialist psychiatry, primarily for patients with various psychotic disorders, behavioral disorders, and neuropsychiatric issues.

As a caregiver in the enhanced basic staffing/resource pool (FHG), you belong to the Acute Psychiatric Reception for children, youth, and adults, but are available to cover resource needs in all departments of the clinic.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caregiver within enhanced basic staffing, you will work in the clinic's five departments and focus on person-centered care with the patient in mind. When there is a need for additional staff in a unit due to illness, extra shifts, or vacation, you will cover and be part of that unit's staffing. From a holistic perspective, you will work with both psychiatric and somatic care, where conversation is an important and prioritized tool. We embrace a multidisciplinary approach where you will work together with nurses, caregivers, doctors, and social workers.

At the start of employment, we will tailor an individual introduction based on your previous knowledge and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained caregiver/nursing assistant with a strong interest in psychiatry. You are engaged in your work and contribute to a good working climate. You should have good collaboration skills and the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations. You thrive when your workday is varied and rich in content. For us, it is important that you have confidence in your profession and experience working independently, as well as being able to express your opinions easily.
