Service Technician
Are you a practical person with a technical education or experience in repairing machines? Then take the chance and apply for this role as a service technician.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a service technician, you will be an important part of a smaller team of five people with different areas of responsibility such as sales, rentals, and workshop. You will be part of a company that rents out machines, cranes, cabins, and other equipment to various customers in construction, civil engineering, and industry. You will be stationed in new premises in Ersboda, but you will also get to go out and perform repairs on-site at construction sites where the machines are located.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that customers are met with excellent service and advice. You assist customers with the rental of machines intended for various construction and civil engineering projects and work with the delivery of machines and construction equipment. You will start the day with a planning session, but based on the tasks that arise during the day, you will be responsible for structuring your tasks to ensure that everything gets done.
You will work with:
- Order and return handling of machines and construction equipment, including picking orders
- Indoor as well as outdoor work, both at the customer center and on-site with customers
- Accounting for returns and customer orders in our business system
- Providing advice on machines, accessories, and services
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a high school or vocational education with a technical focus or several years of experience in the rental, construction, civil engineering, or industrial sectors.
- Has good knowledge of construction, industrial, or electrical machines
- Has good computer skills
- Has a B driver's license to be able to travel to customers
- Fluent in Swedish as it is required for communication with customers
- Lives in or near Umeå as the position starts immediately
It is an advantage if you have:
- BE driver's license and licenses for forklift, reach truck, and wheel loader
