About us and target group

We operate two units in Rengsjö and Arbrå, both beautifully located in nature with large gardens and proximity to lakes and forests. Here, our housing support staff work person-centered to promote the clients' independence. As an employee, you will always have close access to supportive leadership and experienced colleagues.

Our target group consists of individuals aged 18 and over, both women and men, with complex mental health issues and functional variations. The work involves providing support for diagnoses such as psychotic disorders, anxiety, NPF, and dementia, as well as supporting clients with a history of substance abuse in their daily lives.

Daily interventions and activities

We have activity staff who work to motivate and offer individuals activities and employment tailored to their wishes, interests, and abilities, but as a housing support worker, you will also carry out activities with clients. This may include activities such as - gym training at the Bollnäs municipal gym, swimming pool visits, cooking, walks, music sessions, rehabilitation training, crafts and creation, Lego work (corner-folding), gardening, fishing, shopping trips every week, and coffee/restaurant visits. It may also involve planning larger activities or trips, such as Furuvik, football matches, visiting relatives, going to the beach, barbecuing, and sightseeing in the local area or a bit further away.

- We are inventive and try to find solutions to offer activities and environmental changes based on the individual's wishes and abilities. Activities therefore take place both individually and in groups depending on the situation and needs.

We work based on an individual implementation plan and a personal planning that lays the foundation for a weekly schedule for the client. The interventions we work from come from the assignment given to us by the client before placement, as well as the individual needs of the client. This may include supporting the individual in washing, cleaning, maintaining personal hygiene, managing meals, maintaining a regular and good daily rhythm, and taking their medications according to the doctor's prescription. But it can also involve other needs that the individual may have.

About the position

We are now looking for new housing support workers for our operations. As a housing support worker, you work with people who need support with their daily living. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

In this role, you will:

• Provide individual support, care, and service interventions

• Plan and carry out activities with the client

• Daily follow up on your performed interventions in our documentation system and document the interventions you have performed with the client.

• Carry out delegated health and medical care tasks (medication management)

Employment conditions

We are now looking for more employees to work as substitutes as needed and in preparation for the summer; the working hours are varied during the day, evening, and weekend.

We apply individual salary setting, and other compensations are made according to collective agreements. The start date for the position is according to agreement and ongoing.

Who are you?

As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The position of housing support worker also requires patience, flexibility, and responsiveness. We work in a low-affect manner, and great importance is placed on being able to adopt our working methods. • Experience from similar operations

• Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or treatment educator

• Knowledge of low-affect responses, clarifying pedagogy

• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as documentation is a large part of the work

• B driver's license
