Lund Municipality is seeking supervisors for summer internships - Summer Entrepreneurs! As a supervisor, you will support and help young people develop in what may be their first job.

You will act as a coach and guide them through various projects during their summer internship.

Summer Internship

The summer internship in Lund Municipality is aimed at those born between 2006-2010, who are far from the labor market and are now given an opportunity to gain experience and references for future jobs. The program “Summer Entrepreneurs” is a form of summer internship where young people work for three weeks to turn an idea into reality. The summer internship takes place between weeks 25-27 during which you, as a supervisor, will work full-time. In addition, there will be time for training and a planning week for coaches will be held in May/June.

As a Supervisor for Summer Entrepreneurs, you will, together with a team, be responsible for a hub of young people and support them from idea to reality. Your main tasks will include:

• Continuously support and educate the young people during the various stages of the process; idea generation, idea validation, and idea packaging
• Lead workshops and educate in both theoretical and practical aspects
• Coach the young people both individually and in groups
• Practically manage daily operations at the hub during the program

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for someone who has experience working with young people and has personal experience in entrepreneurship or project management. We are also looking for someone who:

• Has at least a high school diploma
• Can inspire young people and adapt your communication style to the context
• Is a natural leader and role model who is good at seeing the individual
• Can pedagogically share your knowledge
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Has an easy time coordinating groups and can create good relationships and a positive work environment
• Wants to develop in business development and entrepreneurship
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you:

• Have run or currently run your own business
• Have managed or are managing projects in sports, student associations, volunteer work, or sustainability
• Have education or are a student in a relevant field (e.g., economics, sociology, psychology)
