At the Technical Administration's Street Department, about 40 dedicated employees work. Together, we are responsible for streets and roads, parks and forests, landfills, parking lots, and public places as well as the water and sewage network. We also provide internal services to other administrations and are located at Södra Fabriksgatan 20 in Oskarshamn. Would you like to help shape the future – for ourselves and for generations to come? RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Administration and the Street Department have many exciting challenges ahead, including sustainable urban development and increased renewal rate of the water and sewage network. In other words, we offer an exciting and interesting job where you will work with various issues within the Street Department. We work, among other things, according to the politically adopted water service plan as a basis for planning and prioritization.

Examples of tasks:

• Renewal planning for the water and sewage network
• Lead network projects from early investigations to implementation and handover to operations
• Contact and dialogue with property owners, authorities, consultants, and contractors
• Simple water and sewage design as well as review of drawings, documents, and technical solutions
• Prepare decision-making documents, statements, technical opinions, and documentation
• Be responsible for connection matters
• Participate in the development of routines, working methods, and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in water and sewage/land or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. If you also have education in project or construction management, we consider this an advantage. We place great importance on your experience working with CAD or similar, LOU, and contract law (AMA, MER).

It is also advantageous if you have experience leading and driving network projects. Experience with the water bank is also a plus. You have a strong commitment to water and sewage issues and as a person, you are responsible, structured, and have an open and positive way of communicating. You have the ability to create networks and take an active role in developing technology and working methods within the Technical Office.
