The Role of Paving Worker

As a paving worker, you will work closely with clients and customers alongside your colleagues. You will belong to a team of knowledgeable colleagues and perform both large and small paving jobs. Since the nature and size of the jobs vary, your tasks will be diverse and provide you with great opportunities for development within the profession. Our operations are seasonal, meaning that work is primarily carried out from April to December.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a high school education, preferably with a focus on technology or construction and civil engineering. Experience working with asphalt in a machine crew or spreading crew is an advantage.

We seek someone who is responsible and has a strong safety mindset. You can work independently while contributing to good teamwork and collaboration. You actively work on your own development, and we value your ability to adapt to changing conditions, find practical solutions, and create a positive work environment through clear and respectful communication. These qualities are essential for us to deliver safe, efficient, and well-executed paving work together.

It is natural for you to communicate and act in line with NCC's strategies and our values: honesty, trust, and respect.

Additional Information

A B driver's license is required; a BE or CE driver's license is an advantage. The position is a permanent seasonal employment on a full-time basis located in Kalmar.

In accordance with NCC's safety culture, we conduct background checks on our final candidates as well as alcohol and drug testing.
