We are looking for a driven and experienced Site Manager for our road maintenance area in Kalmar. Your role:

As a Site Manager, you assist the Site Manager, plan, lead, and distribute the work. You are responsible for various projects, which include quality assurance, work environment, customer contact, financial follow-up, planning of personnel and machinery, invoicing, and participation in budget work. Your role in the group also means that you meet customers and clients, prepare quotes, and make proposals, which requires an interest in finance, business, and customer relations. The role of site manager in our group entails a lot of freedom under responsibility.

You will be part of our team in Kalmar that works with the operation and maintenance of roads. The work focuses on operation and maintenance and the construction of smaller projects, which means working and leading both your own and hired personnel/subcontractors.

The position includes on-call duty.

Examples of tasks performed by the group include:

• Winter road maintenance
• Sand collection
• Road inspection
• Traffic damage
• Paving work
• Green area maintenance
• Drainage work, wells, and road culverts
• Sign work
• Guardrail work
• Maintenance of rest areas

Qualifications:

• Have a relevant technical education and experience in a similar role as a site manager within the industry.
• Have experience in construction work as well as work with the operation and maintenance of roads and winter road maintenance.
• Be socially competent and easy to collaborate with.
• Inspire trust and have a professional demeanor.
• Have good communication skills and a clear, present, and motivating leadership style.
• Have good IT skills and experience working with administrative tasks.
• Hold a B driver's license.

As the daily work involves a lot of contact with various stakeholders, you are social and easy to collaborate with. You give a professional impression and find it easy to build trust. You have good communication skills, and your leadership is clear, present, and inspiring.
