Infrastructure Project Manager with a focus on structures

We are now looking for a project manager to join our growing infrastructure team, who is passionate about bridges, quays, or other heavy structures and wants to continue their professional development with us.

Job Description

As a project manager in the engineering firm's infrastructure team, you will work as a consultant based in one of our offices in Kalmar, Karlskrona, or Oskarshamn. You will become part of an experienced team where we support each other, and we are now looking for a driven and competent colleague to complement our department.

In this role, you will lead inspiring infrastructure projects and be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, from planning to execution. Your technical expertise and passion for quality will be crucial in meeting our clients' high expectations. You will also actively work on market outreach to secure new assignments.

Your responsibilities:

• Project management through all phases, from feasibility study to completion.
• Cost estimation and budgeting.
• Quality and construction management.
• Inspections, damage investigations, and object planning of structures.
• Monitoring of time, budget, and quality.
• Collaboration with internal departments, external parties, and clients to ensure smooth and successful projects.
• Development and implementation of technical solutions that meet project requirements.
• Technical evaluations and analyses in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Development of existing and new assignments.

The work primarily takes place Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30. You have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work. Here, the project's needs, combined with your circumstances, set the limits.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in independently planning and leading infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in planning and leading infrastructure projects within heavy structures.
• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent competence.
• Certification in concrete class 1.
• Good understanding of the construction process and associated industry and regulatory requirements.
• Good experience in document management in projects, AMA construction, contract law, and LOU/LUF.

• Experience in finance, budgeting, and procurement.

• B driver's license.

Meritorious:

• Experience working as a consultant, client, or contractor.
• Experience from early stages of the construction process (feasibility studies, tender documents).
• Competence in object planning in BaTMan.
• Certification for underwater casting.
• Experience in quality work, Bas-P/U, and certification in APV 3.0.
• Training as an excavation responsible (Safe Excavation).
