About the Role

Do you want to work as a production technician in Nämforsen / Forsmo this summer?

You will belong to our production team in Forsmo, where we are responsible for hydropower facilities in the Ångerman River, ensuring stable production of fossil-free hydropower electricity for Sweden.

The role of a temporary production technician is practical and operational; you will be on-site and work in our facilities. You will, for example, work with production technical maintenance, some troubleshooting, and recurring periodic tasks. Together, we ensure that the hydropower facilities are accessible and safe.

Requirements

For the summer job as a production technician, the following is required:

  • Ongoing upper secondary education (for example, electrical and energy program, hydropower technology). Ongoing post-secondary studies are an advantage.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and have a B driver's license.
  • You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

For a safe working environment, it is very important that we have good collaboration in the team. We value that everyone shows consideration, is attentive, and allows everyone to have a say. It is also important that you want to contribute to our collaboration and team spirit.

Working in hydropower facilities places high demands on us to work safely, be risk-aware, and take care of each other. As a summer employee, it is important that you turn to your colleagues if you feel uncertain or want to discuss a thought, that you are aware of how to think and act to work safely, that you focus on doing the right things in the right order, and that you maintain a realistic perspective on emerging situations. Stressful situations may arise, and it is important that you remember what you have learned and do not take any risks.
