Job Responsibilities

As a site manager, you will be responsible for driving projects towards jointly set goals within areas such as HMS (Health, Work Environment, and Safety), economics (profitability), quality, time, and resource planning. You will set goals for the project together with the operations manager and project manager. The site manager is responsible for leading the project and ensuring that progress is made safely with high satisfaction and good profitability. The site manager works together with other roles such as foremen, project engineers, and skilled workers to drive the project forward.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience from infrastructure projects with clients such as the Swedish Transport Administration. Experience from larger projects, collaborative projects, and being mobile is advantageous. You are a university or civil engineer in construction and civil engineering or have other equivalent education that demonstrates administrative and analytical skills. Practical experience in driving projects is very valuable to us and can be equated with formal education.

To succeed in the role of site manager, it is important to master the following:

  • Quantity regulation - Together with the measurer
  • Schedule work and progress
  • Conduct project & morning meetings
  • Diary management
  • Forecasting work
  • AMA, MER, AB04, ABT06
  • You are good at expressing yourself in both speech & writing.

Personal Qualities

You are a confident and coaching leader with the ability to create a positive work environment for the project team through involvement. You communicate well so that everyone in the project is informed and has the opportunity to influence their work situation. As a site manager, you have an excellent ability to organize projects and ensure they progress according to schedule and budget. You enjoy solving problems together with your team, are humble, and do not hesitate to ask for help when needed. Business acumen and a drive to create good profitability are important for the role.
