The role of Site Manager
The role of Site Manager involves responsibility for planning, coordinating, leading, and following up on the project's execution regarding time, quality, economy, and sustainability. You will have site supervisors, skilled workers, and specialists to assist you, who together with subcontractors drive and execute successful projects.
The role includes personnel responsibility for 5–10 skilled employees and leadership responsibility for the team. In your role, you will also have support from, among others, the responsible project manager who is also your immediate supervisor, project engineer, purchaser, and HR. Together, you create the best possible conditions for a good working environment, engagement, and progress in the project.
The position involves many contact points, and you are expected to maintain good dialogue and collaborate both within the team, internally at NCC, and externally with clients and subcontractors.

Your profile as Site Manager
You are currently a Site Manager with several years of experience in driving projects and have good knowledge of different types of contract forms and construction law. You have a technical education in construction or have built up equivalent competence through practical industry experience.
You thrive in the role of a leader and have the ability to lead and delegate tasks while creating motivation and engagement among your employees. You see opportunities when others see problems and are motivated by tackling challenges. You are skilled at planning and organizing your work and are comfortable using digital tools.
Our projects are characterized by structure, order, and a good working environment, so to thrive with us, we see that these are natural guiding principles for you as well. You need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish and be comfortable with English. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities for the role.

About the Building South-East department
The Building South-East department consists of nearly 150 engaged employees who together conduct contracting activities for residential and commercial properties in Jönköping and Skaraborg. Additional information  
The position is a permanent employment with a workplace in Jönköping and travel in the local area. The position requires a B driver's license. This position will be background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
