As the Marketing and Business Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our market position, creating business opportunities, and building relationships that lead to the right projects – both today and for years to come. Within Building Sweden, we build sustainable housing, offices, healthcare buildings, schools, sports facilities, and other public environments for both private and public clients. The Building Southeast department consists of approximately 150 employees and manages a wide variety of construction projects within the region. We are a strong player in the market, especially when it comes to larger and more complex projects.

About the position as Marketing and Business Manager

As the Marketing and Business Manager, you lead the department's marketing and business efforts and have overall responsibility for coordinating and executing marketing and sales work within the department in accordance with the department's portfolio strategy. You set a clear direction and take responsibility for leading and developing the department's marketing and business team to strengthen NCC's position in the geography. You are part of the management team and report to the Department Manager.

You work both operationally and strategically – from mapping the market and developing customer and marketing plans to enhancing the team's marketing and sales competencies. The role also involves budget and personnel responsibility, as well as responsibility for local market communication, customer activities, and ensuring our business is documented in a structured manner.

Together with the management team, you shape a clear marketing direction and contribute to long-term planning, including establishment in new markets. Through analysis, structure, and close customer dialogue, you create attractiveness that leads to the right projects at the right time.

Your profile

We are looking for a senior and business-driven leader with extensive experience in the construction industry and a solid understanding of the market, customers, and sales. You have several years of experience leading teams and thrive in a role where strategy and business go hand in hand.

You have relevant post-secondary education and a strong technical/business foundation that allows you to assess project opportunities and analyze market developments. You understand customer needs, create value in dialogue, and comprehend what constitutes good business acumen.

As a person, you are analytical, strategic, and confident in your skills. You have a sense for business and can prioritize the right customers and projects. You have a good ability to work long-term with portfolio management, profitability, and market development while creating energy and direction within the team.

Additional information

The position is a permanent employment with start as soon as possible. You will be based at our office in Jönköping. Travel within the department's geography is included in the position. This position will undergo background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
