Your New Job

As a tractor driver, you will work with the ongoing operation and maintenance of the municipality's streets, squares, and parks.

You will be part of a team consisting of 12 colleagues. The work and assigned tasks are largely performed alone, while larger tasks are carried out in groups with colleagues. In this role, you will have contact with your immediate supervisor, the team you belong to, and especially the residents/visitors of the municipality where you are the face of the organization. You will also have daily contact with the coordinator for the work team. In your work, you will follow a maintenance plan managed in a digital system via smartphone.

You are needed year-round! In the spring, you will assist in our work to sweep gravel, and in the winter, we clear snow and sand to facilitate accessibility for our residents. The position includes on-call duties and weekend cleaning.

The position is based at Verktygsvägen in the Ljungarum industrial area. If necessary, the workday may start at another depot within the municipality for a shorter or longer period.

Your Qualifications

You are passionate about machines and service-oriented work. The role of tractor driver requires you to collaborate with others as you will be in contact with colleagues, your immediate supervisor, and residents of the municipality. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating, with a desire to help others and find solutions.

You are self-sufficient in your work by completing your assignments, structuring your work efficiently, and driving your work processes forward. As a person, you see opportunities rather than obstacles in changes and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. For you, it is natural to work with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• Work experience in tractor driving/tool carriers with various tools
• Driver's license B manual transmission
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Education in vehicles
• Previous work experience from similar operations
• Driver's license C
• Previous work with digital work tools such as smartphones
• Experience in repairs and operating other machines
