With us, you will become an important cog in creating a safe and creative learning environment for our children and youth. We are now looking for a teacher who can teach electric guitar, electric bass, and rock band. Töreboda Culture School also offers instruction on other musical instruments, in solo singing and choir singing, in dance, as well as drama/theater, film/photo. The culture school also offers a variety of ensembles that children and youth can participate in. Every spring, we put on a performance for school classes.

As an instrument teacher, you will teach students individually and in groups. Opportunities for other performances are available.

The position is a temporary contract of 20% from week 10 to week 25 in the spring term of 2026, with seasonal employment. We can agree on the scheduling of working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You have good experience teaching children and youth in instruments.

It is an advantage if you have a pedagogical education.

You are pedagogical and adapt your teaching to the student's level.

You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, guardians, and other stakeholders.

It is important that you are a secure person with an approach that aligns with the culture school's values. You should have a positive outlook on life, but above all, you should be a person who feels joy, enthusiasm, and curiosity about this assignment and the challenges that this work entails. In your working method, you have a clear structure, and you are flexible and see opportunities. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
