Responsibilities:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will support service technicians and internal teams working with the company's advanced instruments, both remotely and within the organization. You will collaborate closely with R&D and the service organization to ensure high operational reliability and continuously improve the product.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Providing remote technical support to service technicians (troubleshooting, log analysis, diagnostics)
• Documenting installations, technical settings, and upgrades
• Supporting technicians in the field with work methods and best practices
• Collaborating with other departments and engineers to improve products and processes
• Identifying areas for improvement and contributing to higher operational reliability
• Assisting with maintenance and upgrades of installed systems
• Escalating more complex technical issues as needed

The role may sometimes involve working across time zones or outside office hours to ensure systems are operational.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least a few years of experience in instrumentation, technical support, or similar technical roles
• Has a post-secondary education in engineering, such as in mechanics, electrical engineering, or biomedicine.
• Has a strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems remotely
• Has experience in DevOps environments, preferably with Azure
• Communicates fluently in English, both spoken and written
