Your Responsibilities

Are you ready to become an important part of a team that makes a difference every day? At Kärna Vårdby, we are now looking for dedicated colleagues for our short-term accommodation. We offer three permanent positions at 75-100% with varying working hours (day, evening, and weekend).

With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients, where you are a key person in creating a meaningful and individualized everyday life. As a nursing assistant, your tasks will include everything from basic care – such as personal hygiene and transfers – to specific rehabilitation and medical interventions. You also contribute to the well-being by performing household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

We work modernly with digital daily planning for effective resource allocation and place great emphasis on collaboration. Each shift begins and ends with a brief check-in to continuously develop our communication and working methods within the team.

Your Workplace

Kärna Vårdby in Malmslätt offers both short-term accommodation (22 places) and dementia accommodation (10 places in a separate building). The accommodation has excellent public transport connections.

As a nursing assistant, you will be part of a close team, where you collaborate with specialist nursing assistants and nurses to jointly create the best possible care for our clients.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who has an approved education as a nursing assistant and has experience (both work and internships count) in care and support. It is an advantage if you have experience in short-term care, knowledge of and can apply a low-arousal approach, as well as experience in documenting in journal systems.

Since the job involves a lot of contact and documentation, it is a requirement that you master Swedish in both speech and writing. You must also have the ability to use digital tools in your daily work.

As a person, you are self-driven and take full responsibility for your tasks, as well as driving the work forward in an effective way. You are structured, with a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize. You are a team player who finds it easy to collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively. Most importantly, you have an empathetic ability – to be able to put yourself in the client's perspective and situation.
