We are looking for a caregiver with a strong interest in mental health for the psychiatric outpatient clinic in Mjölby.

The Psychiatric Clinic Motala Mjölby consists of two general outpatient clinics, addiction clinics, and mobile care teams located in Motala and Mjölby, as well as an inpatient department in Motala. The clinic operates based on a cohesive care chain with treatment responsibility in both outpatient and inpatient care. Teamwork and home care are important cornerstones of the operation. The clinic covers western Östergötland and has been part of the Psychiatric Center in Region Östergötland since 2020.

Job Description

We are an integrated reception where we assess, investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate patients. As a caregiver, you will work with psychiatric care tasks, which include supporting, motivating, assessing, and describing the patient and their needs, as well as coordinating around this. Your responsibilities include treatment follow-ups, psychoeducational conversations, telephone advice, and health checks. A large part of the work involves close collaboration with other professionals/actors and relatives around the patient. Assessments are also made together with other professionals within the team.

About You

We prefer that you have a KY/vocational higher education in psychiatry or a degree from a nursing program with a focus on psychiatry. Experience working in psychiatric operations and psychiatric outpatient work is an advantage, as well as experience in treatment follow-ups, but we place great importance on personal maturity and your willingness to engage and develop your work.

We want you, like us, to have a good attitude, a positive approach, and to focus on the best interests of the patient. You work independently in organizing daily tasks while being able to collaborate easily with others, as a large part of our work is team-based, and you should have a strong interest in collaborating with other professional categories. You should also have good experience in collaboration and in collaborative forums such as SIP and care planning.

The position is a permanent employment that may start with a 6-month probationary period, with placement by agreement. Interviews will take place on Thursday, March 2, and Wednesday, March 4.
