Albrektsvägen 153 is a special housing facility with 80 apartments spread over five floors. Floors 2-3 are designated for people with dementia (40 apartments), and floors 4-5 are for elderly care (40 apartments). The facility is located in central Norrköping, with the football stadium as its nearest neighbor.

In the position of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, cycling, or engaging in fun activities together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a colleague for our dementia department. This is a permanent position with a probationary period and a full-time employment rate of 100%.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

• Previous experience working in a dementia ward in a nursing home.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to present an unopened extract from the police record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
