Summer Job as a Systems Specialist

Your Task

As a systems specialist, you will be responsible for the daily operation of IT systems related to the Energy Services control center, including ensuring functionality, resolving issues, and supporting users.

Your tasks also include:

• Managing and maintaining measurement collection systems in Windows and Unix environments, as well as handling data/telecommunications and databases (Oracle, MSSQL).
• Developing and improving tools for analyzing measurement data.
• Configuring communication devices, performing upgrades, troubleshooting, writing scripts, and conducting system cleaning and documentation work.
• Supporting investigations and taking on smaller development projects.
• Covering for regular staff during vacation periods.

Your Team

You will belong to a team with other systems specialists, as well as measurement engineers, management leaders, data analysts, and project managers. We see great value in welcoming curious students and look forward to getting to know you!

Your Competence

We are looking for someone studying a Master's degree in engineering, such as computer science, information technology, or equivalent, preferably with at least one year of study or previous experience in data operations.

You are responsible and structured, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently. You strive to see the big picture of a task and are accustomed to analyzing. You approach tasks with a solution-focused mindset and aim to deliver high quality in your work.

Programming skills in Python or Java are advantageous, as well as experience in measurement or energy operations.
