Patient care is increasingly taking place in individual homes, which makes home healthcare a growing, developing, and focused area. We work closely with our patients together with home care services and ensure that each individual receives safe and effective care.

Your responsibilities

You are part of a cross-professional team of nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. As a nursing responsible nurse, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on patient care. The work involves collaborating across care levels with home care, primary care, and the region to ensure a qualitative and cohesive care chain for the patient's best interest. When you work on-call, you have the security of home healthcare's well-established collaboration with the Mobile Family Care Unit.

We work every fourth weekend and about 3 - 4 evenings a month.

Your qualifications

You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to handle most situations with calm and stability. You know how to prioritize both in your planning and in interventions with patients, and you take responsibility in your work. Flexibility is a given for you as you understand the need to adapt quickly when the situation requires it. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to creating joy at work for yourself and your colleagues. You are a licensed nurse and have experience working in healthcare and social services. If you have just graduated, you are of course warmly welcome to apply. It is a plus if you have further education in health and medical care or psychiatry, and if you have previous experience caring for the elderly, people with mental health issues, or dementia. Experience from home care or regular housing is also an advantage.

You will be driving a car as part of your job, so you need to have a B driver's license.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
