About the job

We are looking for licensed nurses for standby assignments. Work during evenings, weekends, and nights may occur.

In this role, you primarily work from home and are responsible for medical advice, assessments, and support to patients and healthcare staff via phone and digital systems.

If the situation requires, the work may also involve visiting patients for assessments and care interventions on-site. This is done according to established routines and within a defined geographical area.

You play an important role in ensuring patient safety and making independent decisions during standby periods.

Responsibilities

• Medical advice via phone and digital platforms
• Assessment of patients
• Conduct home visits to patients when necessary
• Support to care staff in medical matters
• Documentation according to applicable laws and guidelines
• Collaboration with doctors and other healthcare personnel

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Driver's license (B)
• Good computer skills
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in standby work
• Experience in telephone advice
• Specialist training, such as district nurse
• Experience in municipal health and medical care/home care
