Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who, in combination with working clinically, is passionate about creating good working environments and coaching employees to provide high-quality service to our citizens with the aim of promoting good oral health and high-quality dental care.

As a manager and leader, you will be responsible for personnel and financial matters, development/change work, as well as operational planning and follow-up.

As a clinic manager, you will run the clinic according to the goals and common values of Public Dental Care together with your colleagues.

About the Workplace

Folktandvården Västmanland AB is wholly owned by Region Västmanland with general dental care clinics in all municipalities of the county and collaborates with Specialist Dental Care located within Västmanlands Sjukhus Västerås. Folktandvården Adelsö is a pleasant clinic with 24 dedicated employees and 7 treatment rooms. Here we work in teams where we utilize each other's competencies and support each other to provide our patients with the best possible care – with competence, respect, joy at work, a forward-looking attitude, and togetherness in focus.

We are a clinic with good accessibility and flexible working hours – two days a week we work from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and three days a week from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a valid dental care license/education in Sweden. You have several years of experience in dental care. We prefer that you have managerial and leadership experience. It is an advantage if you have some form of leadership training, preferably developmental leadership, as well as experience in workplace environment and budget work. To succeed in the role, it is also advantageous to have experience leading development and improvement work as well as patient safety work. Our work is governed by documents that are often in Swedish, and therefore you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. To succeed in the role, good IT skills are necessary.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You collaborate well with others and communicate clearly. You are someone who has a good ability to see the whole picture and make correct assessments and priorities while showing judgment in statements, actions, and decisions.

Your leadership is inclusive, engaging, and trust-based, which promotes a non-prestigious and development-driven operation. Your ability to lead with trust and engagement contributes to inspiring and motivating others. To succeed in the role, you need to be interested in and have a good ability to create and maintain good relationships both internally and externally.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment in the base profession with a three-year assignment as clinic manager, with the possibility of extension. Full-time. Västerås.
