Job Responsibilities
As a nurse with us, you will work from a holistic perspective with the patient in focus and you will have a leading responsibility regarding care, treatment, and nursing of patients. As a nurse, you will also have contact with relatives, doctors, and other healthcare providers. You are part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation teams, senior physicians, and junior physicians. We work and round in teams.
About the Workplace
Ward 1 at Fagersta Hospital has recently undergone a complete renovation and now offers a modern, bright, and pleasant working environment with the familiar feeling of a small hospital.
Nurses working in ward 1 receive a salary supplement of 3000 SEK/month.
In ward 1, we care for patients from the entire northern part of the region and work with medically stable patients who come for aftercare or rehabilitation, as well as palliative care. You will be part of an engaged team that values collaboration, safety, and development – both for the patients and for you as an employee.
Together with primary care and municipalities, we are in the midst of an exciting development journey towards Close Care, where the patient's needs are at the center. Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a few years of experience in the profession. If you also have a specialist education in elderly care or palliative care and thrive in a family-like work environment, that is an additional plus.
Our work is governed by documents that are often in Swedish, and therefore you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We work in the Cosmic journal system, and we see it as an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of the system.
We see that you are a secure, stable person with good self-awareness. You collaborate and communicate well with others and have a good ability to understand other people's perspectives. As a nurse, you are responsible for leading and distributing the work, which is why we see that good leadership qualities and a good ability to make correct assessments and priorities are necessary.
Employment Conditions
Permanent employment, full-time, Fagersta.
Working hours: Day, evening, every other weekend.
