Senior Contract Controller
Are you an analytical and solution-oriented senior contract controller who wants to develop how we work with our contracts and create the greatest possible benefit for the business? Then this could be the role for you.
The Technical Facilities unit manages and develops the company's technical waste facilities, the sorting facility Resource Recovery Stockholm, and facilities with municipal responsibility for vacuum trucks. The unit is also responsible for the treatment and disposal of residual waste, food waste, and other materials that are sorted out or produced at the facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a contract controller, you have overall responsibility for coordination, monitoring, and development of operational contracts in close collaboration with contract managers, procurement, lawyers, and the unit manager. The unit manages a comprehensive and complex portfolio of contracts worth approximately 2.3 billion SEK. Examples of our procurements include operation and maintenance of our vacuum truck facilities, treatment of residual and food waste, and service agreements for our sorting facility.
In this role, you will work to create control and quality throughout the contract chain from signing to monitoring. You will analyze contract data, follow up on deliveries, and identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement. An important part of the assignment is to work with knowledge transfer from existing contracts to strengthen the long-term sustainability and efficiency of our contract work and upcoming procurements.
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period based at the headquarters in Ulvsunda, Bromma.
More examples of your tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure that contract terms are adhered to and that the business gets the full effect of its contracts
- Build a business-like dialogue with suppliers and our partners
- Drive the development of processes and tools within contract management
- Collaborate with procurement officers, lawyers, and operational managers
- Prepare reports, key figures, and decision-making materials for management and the board
- Ensure that all contracts are handled uniformly according to established processes within the company.
- Provide support in contract management to the unit manager and others in the unit
- Lead and support work with procurements and the initiation of new contracts
QUALIFICATIONS
As a person, you are analytical and structured, with the ability to plan, organize, and drive your processes systematically to achieve results. You find it easy to collaborate and communicate with different functions and thrive in a role with many points of contact. At the same time, you take your own initiatives and drive your work forward with a focus on quality and the whole. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize ensure that you maintain order even in complex assignments. If you also have a genuine interest in environmental issues and sustainable development, you will fit excellently in this role.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree, preferably with a focus on environmental legislation and procurement
- At least five years of experience working with contracts, contract monitoring, or controller functions
- Experience working with LOU procurements
- Experience in developing working methods and processes
- Good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish
It is a merit if you have:
- A legal degree or experience in legal work, particularly in contract law, procurement, or public administration.
- Experience interpreting and drafting contracts and providing legal support in contract matters.
