Your new role

Our client is now looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Consultant to their General Analytics team in Solna. In this role, you will be a key person working hands-on with data, while also understanding the business – you ask the right questions, deliver insights, and contribute to data-driven decisions.

Your responsibilities:

• Transform data into insights: Analyze large amounts of business and market data, identify trends, and deliver clear recommendations to decision-makers.

• Reporting and visualization: Create both regular and ad-hoc reports as well as dashboards in Power BI to track key metrics and illustrate your findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations) to understand processes and needs, translate these into analytical questions and data requirements, and challenge assumptions to improve outcomes and strategies.

• Data preparation and modeling: Retrieve, clean, and prepare data from various sources. Develop and maintain robust data models and pipelines (e.g., SQL, Databricks) for reliable analysis and reporting.

• Advanced analysis and improvement: Use statistical methods and Python-based analysis to identify patterns or anomalies in customer and sales data. Drive analytical efforts in projects and initiatives with a focus on making insights actionable.

• Recommendations and implementation: Proactively suggest new analyses or business opportunities based on data, present insights clearly, and collaborate with teams to implement recommendations.

Assignment scope: Full-time, 100% Employment type: Fixed-term employment as a consultant via JobBusters. Work model: Hybrid based out of the office in Solna. Start: As soon as possible. To be successful in this role, you need

• A degree in statistics, data science, computer science, business analytics, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 6-9 years of experience as a data analyst or BI specialist, preferably with a focus on sales, marketing, or customer data.

• Strong skills in SQL and Python, as well as experience in data modeling and cloud-based analysis (Databricks is a plus).

• Expertise in Power BI or similar tools, with the ability to create clear, interactive dashboards and reports.

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling; able to translate quantitative methods into insights (trends, correlations, forecasts).

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Finnish is a plus.
