Nyköping Gymnasium is now looking for a teacher in health subjects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is located at Nyköping Gymnasium where you will teach students in the Nico unit. You will belong to a team with fantastic colleagues who will welcome you, and together you will develop learning environments, approaches, and teaching that enhance students' learning and social development.

The position includes teaching in health subjects. It also includes mentorship for a number of students. We use digital tools in our work with pedagogical documentation. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in students' competencies.

As a teacher, you are responsible for the pedagogical work within the subjects you teach. The positions require you to have clear leadership with engagement and warmth that challenges and supports students so that they achieve good academic results. We work based on the school's curriculum. You work according to the curricula and translate the goals into meaningful learning for the students.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, you need to have good knowledge of the subjects you teach and possess a teaching license. It is advantageous if you are a trained nurse and have experience in pedagogical work and have worked with upper secondary students before.

You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you.
