Skobes Bil is a family-owned business founded in 1876 and is currently run by the fifth generation. Skobes is an authorized dealer of Volvo, Renault, Dacia, Lynk & Co, Maxus, and JAC, with 11 locations and approximately 250 employees, generating around 1.9 billion SEK in revenue.

We aim to offer customers a “Complete Car Utilization”, meaning everything from car sales, workshops, car parts, car care, refueling, washing, financing, insurance, etc., all under one roof, and we want to do it our way – personally all the way.

Main responsibilities:

As a car technician, you will perform and diagnose service and repairs on Volvo, Renault, Dacia, and Polestar. Technology is advancing rapidly, and hybrid and electric drives are becoming increasingly common. Through your engaged and professional approach, you will always make the customer feel professionally attended to. You are responsible for the entire process: from booking appointments to the car being ready for pickup and for feedback to the customer. You will receive your own phone and computer and will be responsible for your own planning, with support from the workshop coach as needed.

What we expect from you:

We believe you have a technical interest in cars and enjoy working directly with customers. We prefer that you have a vehicle technology education or experience in similar tasks; experience from the damage/car glass business is an advantage. However, the most important thing for us is that you have a burning interest in technology and cars, are quick to learn new things, and are sociable. You are open to continuous improvements and changes in work methods. You are a proactive and solution-oriented person.

You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

This position is a permanent full-time employment located at Skobes Bil in Motala.
