Temporary Treatment Assistant at Hera

Hera is a support accommodation for adult women in vulnerable life situations due to dependency issues, mental health problems, and other difficulties.

The purpose of Hera is that the accommodation, combined with treatment and employment, should enable personal development and create conditions for an independent life. Hera also accepts women in need of emergency placement as space allows, in addition to planned interventions. The focus of client work is the individual goals that the client works on, where dependency is the central issue.

We are now looking for a temporary treatment assistant.

Your Responsibilities

You will work daily with clients based on an agreed individual plan and support and lead the group in daily activities. In this role, you will help the client create structure and conditions for a more independent and autonomous life after their time at Hera.

Planning occurs in close collaboration with the client and other relevant support functions. Cooperation with other units is a central part of the assignment, and depending on the client's situation, contact and collaboration with relatives may be included. All work with relatives is done in close cooperation with the relevant units.

The work also includes documentation as well as motivation and change work, including individual conversations using MI (Motivational Interviewing) as a method. The operations are characterized by flexible and individualized solutions where the client's needs and current life situation are always in focus.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, social educator, or has equivalent education with a behavioral science focus. You have previous experience in similar work, preferably with women. We also prefer that you have knowledge of dependency issues and mental health problems. Furthermore, the position requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

To thrive in this role, you need to be secure, attentive, and professional in your interactions. You have good collaboration skills, are responsible, and can work in a structured manner while being flexible based on the clients' needs. You are relationship-building, patient, and have the ability to motivate change. Furthermore, you are solution-focused, have good communication skills, and can make well-founded decisions even in complex situations. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Other Information

The position is a temporary full-time position, starting from 2026-03-16 until 2027-01-31. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and on-call nights.
