Job Description

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 6-year-old child.

As a personal assistant, you provide support in everyday life, and your tasks include helping with daily training, tube feeding, basic hygiene routines, and enabling the child to participate in various activities, including attending school and interacting with other children. Your task is to help the child feel closeness, security, and care in their home environment. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach and is carried out in close collaboration with the family and other staff.

You will be part of a team of six assistants, but during your working hours, you will work alone. The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends with an employment rate of approximately 80-100%.

A dog is present in the home.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is physically fit and genuinely interested in working with children, has a medical interest, and a willingness to learn new things when changes occur.

Personal suitability is important in this work. We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, attentive, and flexible, and who has a very high quality responsibility in everything they do. Your approach needs to be characterized by respect for the individual's needs and the family's need for privacy.

For the job, sufficient knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is required to fully understand instructions regarding the medical equipment you will be handling and to perform care documentation correctly.

We believe we are looking for someone who is trained as a preschool teacher, nursing assistant, or has other education focused on care or social work. Experience in care work or social work is an advantage. You must be at least 18 years old.

A criminal record extract is required and must be submitted before starting the position.
