On behalf of our client in Karlshamn municipality, we are looking for personal assistants who are attentive to our client's needs and wishes.

We are seeking assistants who want to form a flexible team that can be tailored according to individual possibilities and needs. There is the option for 100% work or divided percentages among several assistants, as well as hourly substitutes who can work as needed. We are also open to appointing activity-based positions where each assistant has their own area of responsibility. This can vary based on circumstances and preferences. For example, it may involve being responsible for taking the client to music school, accompanying them during swimming, cooking, visiting play areas, or dining out with the client.

About the client: The client is a girl who is social, positive, and has a high activity level with lots of energy. She enjoys swimming, playing at playgrounds, shopping, walking, music, and dancing. The client is looking for active assistants who enjoy coming up with activities and a varied job. More information about the client will be provided during the interview.

Who are we looking for? You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. You are a positive person who enjoys taking initiative and responsibility, and you have good problem-solving skills. You are resilient and solution-oriented in challenging situations. As a personal assistant, you need to be attentive, responsive, and confident in your role. You should be able to prevent and manage risky situations and create structure in daily life. You have a good sense of humor and are ready to make your own decisions. You are responsible and easy to collaborate with. You are skilled at motivating others and find challenges in your work enjoyable. There is a cat in the home. You as an assistant or substitute do not smoke or use snuff during working hours.

Meritorious:

• It is an advantage if you speak Serbian, Croatian, or Bosnian.
• Have a driver's license.
• Experience with NPF.
• Experience with AAC and visual support.
• Previously worked as a personal assistant.
• Education in healthcare & social care.

Personal assistance is provided 24/7. You will become part of a team that works together with and for the client.

Your tasks:

These can range from individualized care to household chores. Assistance is primarily conducted in the client's home but also involves accompanying them on activities outside the home. You will work supportively and motivationally. Training will be provided on-site and through Monument Assistans.
