Strömsund Health Center welcomes a licensed psychologist who wants to be part of developing our health center!

Primary care is in an exciting phase of development with a focus on close care and the development of distance-independent care. To create better conditions for collaboration, we have established a new joint organization for primary care and ambulance services: Close Care. This development means that we will be able to work together more easily in multiprofessional teams that, with changed working methods, are more focused on people's needs and conditions.

There is a strong focus on developing the work of transitioning to close care together with other health centers, private care providers, and municipal operations. We have a common vision and mission to provide the county's residents and visitors with better health and care.

The health center, with about 5000 listed patients, has fresh and purpose-built facilities. Here we offer both acute and booked outpatient visits. Adjacent to the health center is the Close Care Department (Näva), which we run together with the municipality. Those of us who work at the health center are constantly striving to offer our patients the best care, and we always focus on the patient's best interests. As a psychologist in the unit, you will also work at Backe Health Center, which is a smaller unit located at the border to Västernorrland with about 1000 listed patients. Travel to Backe is included in working hours. We also have agreements with Close Care Frostviken and assist them with psychological resources as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES

You have a very important role in assessing and treating adult patients with mental health issues, as well as assessing and guiding patients to the right treatment. You will work in the psychosocial unit with psychosocial assessment and treatment work for adult patients with varying issues such as stress, anxiety disorders, crises, depression, and pain problems. The work involves assessment, psychological treatment, and method development based on psychotherapy, where supervision is, of course, included.

Your work will also include facilitating contacts and providing guidance to other societal actors, e.g., in case of rehabilitation needs. Participation in the multimodal team, where the focus is on helping patients return to work, is also included. In addition, supervision and regular meetings with other psychologists in primary care are part of the role.

The position is a hybrid role, meaning both on-site and remote work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus and has experience working in primary care.

You are curious, have a genuine interest in development, and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with others.
