Birger Jarls Gymnasium is growing, and we now want to expand our staff with a resourceful and ambitious person who is not afraid to step in where needed!

The position is currently 40%.

We are looking for someone who is handy and can fix minor issues such as assembling furniture, putting up shelves, repairing small damages like a chair leg, or anything that may wear out and break in a school.

In addition, we would like you to be able to assist with simpler administrative tasks, such as documentation, archiving, working with lists, and more. If you can also provide basic IT support, that would be a plus!

About you

In the role of caretaker, you will meet both staff and students daily, which is why you need to have a professional and cheerful demeanor, and the ability to quickly adapt to any new or urgent tasks.

The staff group at Birger Jarls Gymnasium is a cheerful and welcoming team that will be there to support you, and we expect the same in return from you.

We believe that you who are applying have completed your high school education, and have experience in caretaking in some form, and/or experience in repairs and maintenance.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in a school.
