Do you have a sharp technical eye and a passion for optimizing property operations? We are now looking for a facility technician for an exciting consulting assignment for 1 year. You will be employed by Randstad and work on-site in technically complex buildings.

About the role:

As a Facility Technician, you will be responsible for the daily supervision and maintenance of the property's technical systems. The role is operational and means that you will be out in the field to ensure that heating, ventilation, and electricity function optimally and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Your main responsibilities:

· Operations & Maintenance: Perform periodic inspections, service, and corrective maintenance on electrical, heating, and ventilation systems.

· Technical troubleshooting: Manage control and regulation systems and perform alarm management and troubleshooting on-site.

· Energy analysis: Meter readings of water, electricity, and heat, as well as input and analysis of values in consultation with the energy controller.

· Safety: Responsible for fire alarm systems, smoke vents, and regulatory compliance regarding, for example, OVK, legionella, and SBA.

· Reporting: Identify deviations and report them to the responsible property manager.

Your profile

We are looking for a responsible and self-driven technician who enjoys taking initiative. You are administratively secure, communicative in your contact with customers, and unpretentious when it comes to solving both big and small problems.

Education and qualifications:

· University education with a technical focus or at least 3 years of documented experience in operational technical tasks.

· At least 1 year of experience specifically as a facility technician.

· Valid B driver's license.

· Documented training in: Roof safety, Lift training, SBA, Hot work, and Facility manager fire (and sprinkler if necessary).

Technical skills:

· Good knowledge of operational optimization and control and regulation technology (including monitoring systems).

· Basic knowledge of electricity (troubleshooting motors, lighting, etc.) and cooling systems (understanding of, for example, high-pressure switches).

· Expertise in heating and ventilation systems with the ability to rectify minor faults independently.

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as OVK, radon, and fire safety.

• Documented basic electrical knowledge to be able to perform minor
• troubleshooting (e.g., of motors, actuators, lighting, etc.)
• Documented basic knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Documented basic knowledge of smoke vents to be able to test
• and, if necessary, repair minor faults
