Operations Manager for Parking Department in Stockholm

The Parking Department in Stockholm is now looking for an Operations Manager who, together with the department manager, will develop our operations.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM with deviations such as staff meetings in the evening, etc.

About the Position

You will, together with the department manager, Ufuk Bugdayci, be responsible for operations, personnel, customers, and budget. You have a structured working method where you involve employees in change processes to create participation. You will work on conducting a systematic work environment effort together with the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.

We will deliver valuable security to our customers. This means delivering the right quality in all our assignments by meeting customer needs and continuously ensuring and following up on the work according to applicable routines in our management and operational system. You will collaborate with other important functions in the company and in the region and be able to act outside the assigned area of responsibility when necessary.

Qualifications

You should have good personal and industry knowledge. You are confident in making decisions and following up on decisions made in operations. With your communication skills and engagement, you inspire others while easily seeing solutions where others see obstacles. You are structured, have good planning skills, and know how to prioritize. You have a genuine interest in people and are attentive in your way of being. You should be able to constructively collaborate with union representatives.

In addition to the personal qualities we are looking for, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Good Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • Experience from a similar position

Furthermore, you need to be unpunished*, drug-free, have an orderly economy, high school competence, and good health and fitness to be employed by Avarn Security.

Previous experience in a leading position with personnel, budget, and result responsibility, as well as experience in security and surveillance operations, particularly in parking operations, is meritorious. Additionally, a valid driver's license B is preferred.
