We are looking for dedicated train technicians/engineers

We are seeking several dedicated train technicians/engineers who want to work with modifications, renovations, and technical tasks. The role involves working with mechanical, electrical, and vehicle-related systems according to change orders and project requirements, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and documentation.

Your Responsibilities

• Modifications and installations on vehicles
• Documentation and traceability of completed work
• Function testing and troubleshooting after modifications
• Collaboration with project teams, quality, and suppliers

Your Background

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education in vehicles, electrical, automation, mechanics, or technology, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in modification or installation on railway vehicles or other safety-critical products
• Good understanding of electrical systems and mechanical systems
• Ability to read drawings, electrical diagrams, and technical instructions
• High safety awareness and quality focus

Meritorious:

• Post-secondary education in railway technology or vehicle technology
• Experience with Flygtåg vehicles or the X3 family
• Experience with retrofit, upgrade, or lifespan extension projects
• Electrical and electrical safety training, forklift or lift certification

Personal Qualities

• Meticulous, methodical, and structured
• Independent, solution-oriented, and flexible
• Good collaboration skills and technical responsibility

Other

• Willing to work shifts, nights, and weekends as needed
• Good Swedish and technical English
• Travel may be required
