Property Technician with Fire Protection Responsibility (SBA & Fire Alarm)

Do you want to work with technical property management and systematic fire protection work in one of Stockholm's most socially important assignments?

Caverion is now looking for a property technician with experience in SBA and fire alarms for our Technical Facility Management assignment (TFM) together with Stockholm Exergi. The assignment includes technical management, operation, and maintenance of Stockholm Exergi's properties - facilities that are crucial for the region's energy supply.

Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm and works with resource-efficient solutions for heating, electricity, cooling, and waste services throughout the Stockholm region.

Caverion is responsible for the operation, supervision, maintenance, and advice regarding technical property systems in approximately 50 objects, including five base facilities: Värtan, Brista, Högdalen, Hammarbyverket, and Hässelby.

The work is conducted within three geographical areas:
* City (Värtan/Campus)
* Northwest (Sigtuna/Brista)
* South (Högdalen)

The Role

In the role of property technician with fire protection responsibility, you will work closely with daily property operations, focusing particularly on SBA, fire alarms, and other fire protection systems. You are an important part of ensuring safe, secure, and reliable operations in technically complex properties.

The role combines operational work in the property with responsibility for controls, follow-ups, and coordination related to fire protection.

Responsibilities

• Work with systematic fire protection work (SBA) in the properties
  * Perform supervision, controls, and functional tests of fire alarms and fire protection systems
  * Be a facility manager for fire alarms (and if necessary, sprinkler/gas extinguishing)
  * Troubleshoot and manage deviations in fire protection systems
  * Participate in inspections, rounds, and follow-ups of actions
  * Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, emergency services, and authorities
  * Contribute to improvements in routines, documentation, and safety work

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a property-related technical background who is confident in the role of responsible or involved in SBA and fire alarms.

• Experience as a property technician, operations technician, or similar
  * Practical experience of SBA and fire protection work
  * Knowledge of fire alarm systems and facility management
  * Certification as a facility manager (SBF 110/120/500) is an advantage - or a willingness to be trained
  * Basic knowledge of laws and regulations regarding fire protection (LSO, etc.)
  * Independent, responsible, and service-oriented
