School Nurse at Vittra Luma Park

We are looking for a school nurse for our school Vittra Luma Park. We are a small school with 64 students from grades F-3. At our school, you are part of the student health team and have close proximity to teachers, educators, and students. We work to create good relationships and have a good collaboration with each other, a pleasant school where everyone knows everyone.

Responsibilities

As a school nurse, you primarily work in health promotion and prevention. The overarching goal is for all students to have the opportunity to meet the approved knowledge requirements in school. As a school nurse, you are part of a comprehensive student health team at the school and work closely with the school doctor, special educator, psychologist, counselor, and principal. A comprehensive student health team should support students' development towards the goals of education.

The school nurse's duties include standard school nurse tasks that are essential parts of the above work. Health visits and the open reception are important parts of ensuring that each student receives the support they need in school. Other tasks include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed nurse and have specialized training in health and medical care for children and adolescents or open health and medical care. Previous experience working with children and adolescents, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered an advantage. The job requires good computer skills.

As a person, you should be structured and meticulous, enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, and be somewhat of an entrepreneur, someone who thrives on creating and taking initiatives. You have a strong drive for health-promoting work, to create a school environment that is positive, tolerant, and safe, and to continuously work together to build good relationships in all areas.

Employment Conditions

Permanent position, 10-20% with start date according to agreement, preferably as soon as possible.
