We look forward to receiving your CV after you have read this ad, as in our department you will find collaboration, development, a good working environment, and structured work.

All of this together with our heart patients. After about two years, you can become a cardiac nurse (applicable at DSAB).

The department is an acute care unit with 24 beds. 80% of our nurses are cardiac nurses, meaning they have worked for more than 2 years. The focus is on ischemic heart disease. We investigate and treat heart attacks, chest pain, and unstable angina, and most patients are monitored with cardiac surveillance. We collaborate with other departments, clinics, and units within the heart clinic, and we work well together in teams. Our patient group consists of adults of all ages, which means a variety of medical treatment and care. Most patients are mobile and stable, and are cared for on average for 2.5 days, which means that the pace can sometimes be high.

In our teams, there are 6 patients per care team (nurse, assistant nurse, and doctor). The care team can be supplemented with resources such as physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and/or care coordinators as needed.

The clinic has quality developers and educational leaders.

Job Responsibilities

In addition to the usual duties of a nurse in an acute care unit for heart patients, you will learn to review ECG/cardiac monitoring. You will continuously work on care development and will be offered the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in various areas of development.

Your continued professional development will take place according to your own needs in consultation with the Head of the Care Unit.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse. Good knowledge of all aspects of the Swedish language.

Personal Characteristics

We are looking for someone who feels secure in themselves and in their nursing role and preferably has a few years of experience. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and have a positive attitude towards working with our patients and your colleagues. Furthermore, you are responsible and have an interest in the development of the department, enjoy collaboration, and the care process. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and consider group dynamics in the selection process.

To familiarize yourself with the environment in the department, there is always the opportunity for observation with us if desired.
