Stora Sköndal's Neurological Rehabilitation Clinic offers active and intensive rehabilitation for patients with stroke, Parkinson's, MS, and other neurological diseases and injuries. Rehabilitation is a team effort where speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants work together with patients and their relatives. In addition to inpatient rehabilitation, we also accept patients in outpatient care at our neurological day rehabilitation and at our speech therapy and physiotherapy clinic.

We are now looking for a substitute for our occupational therapy group in day rehabilitation. Primarily, we are looking for a licensed occupational therapist, but there may also be an opportunity for someone who is nearly qualified to work under the supervision of an experienced occupational therapist. Together with the physiotherapist and the rest of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that your patients have a well-balanced amount of training with the patient's rehabilitation goals in the rehab plan in sight. Training is conducted both individually and in groups with a wide and varied range of training forms. The training facilities are equipped with workshops for ceramics and leather, a training kitchen, and several smaller treatment rooms. We also utilize the nature-adjacent location and our fantastic therapy garden for outdoor training when suitable.

The substitute position is for 5 weeks at 50-80% from April 27 to May 31, with great opportunities for extension over the summer, then full-time in our inpatient rehabilitation. Applications and interviews will be handled continuously, and the position may be filled before the final application date of March 8, 2026. You are an occupational therapist, preferably with experience in neurology. Good knowledge of the Swedish language and experience in documentation are required. The job demands high organizational and collaborative skills. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are a non-profit organization focused on support, care, education, and research. Not distributing any profits allows us to invest all resources into fulfilling our mission as effectively as possible. Since 1905, activities within the Stiftelsen Stora Sköndal have developed, changed, and improved. Some activities remain, while others are entirely new. But one thing does not change: We still operate based on the belief in the equal value of all people.

Every day, we aim to improve the lives of all the people we meet in our activities. Today, we have about 750 employees, both monthly and hourly, who work together towards our vision - a society with a natural place for everyone. Our culture is permeated by our values - equality, care, and change.
