Our residential care homes are the part of Ersta Diakonia that operates a total of nine homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure and enriching daily life, characterized by activities, community, and good, pleasant meals. At our homes, everyone should feel at home!

Sarahhem opened in 2018 and is today a well-established operation with satisfied residents and staff. Sarahhem is located in Nacka/Älta and has 54 tastefully furnished apartments spread over two floors, for people with dementia and care needs. We have a large, sunny, and lush garden and are located right next to nature and outdoor areas. We are careful to create a beautiful environment where genuine homeliness meets today's technology. Here, nurses, rehabilitation staff, care personnel, and management work in close collaboration. Our work is based on science and performed with heart.

About the role

In the role of assistant nurse (undersköterska), you have close collaboration with residents, relatives, management, and other care personnel. You and your colleagues plan the workday based on the residents' individual needs and wishes. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful daily life for those living with us are important parts of the work. We focus on person-centered care, activities, care meals, and contact person assignments.

The advertisement concerns a position on a somatic ward of approximately 80%.

Your experience

We are looking for you who have:

• Professional certificate as an assistant nurse (undersköterska) from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Good computer skills
