We at Attendo are now looking for summer substitute nursing assistants for Attendo Balders Båge in Norrtälje.

A nature-oriented nursing home focusing on outdoor activities & gardening and a wide range of activities.

There are 54 apartments distributed across 6 units over 3 floors.

About the role

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a significant part of your role, as well as contributing to various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Perform documentation and work according to decided interventions

• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity.

Meritorious:

• Experience from care work in elderly care

• Experience of delegation.
