Our Operations
The field of psychiatry provides highly specialized care for individuals with severe mental illnesses. The Psychiatry Department 3B offers specialist psychiatric inpatient care for patients with affective disorders such as severe depression, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, and severe anxiety disorders. We belong to the section for affective disorders, which is a specialist psychiatric operation within the field of psychiatry and consists of both inpatient care and several outpatient clinics. We are located in modern facilities where inpatient care, outpatient care, and emergency psychiatric care are gathered under one roof.
Your Mission
Being employed in department 3B is an exciting job where you meet many people in different situations. You are part of a team that supports and helps each other while also working independently. The teams consist of doctors, nursing assistants, caregivers, and nurses. Patients come to us both acutely and on a planned basis, and the work pace can be high at times. As a nursing assistant, you primarily work with basic psychiatric and somatic care close to the patient. You care for patients with a wide range of care needs. In collaboration with colleagues from other professional categories, you participate in planning the patient's care and treatment. You work with supportive conversations and documentation and perform tests and examinations. The workplace is stimulating and offers a mix of somatic and psychiatric care. The role also includes supervising nursing assistant students.
Your Qualifications
- You have a genuine interest in psychiatric care. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability during the hiring process.
- We expect you to always have the patient at the center and to meet patients, relatives, and colleagues with respect and humility.
- You have the ability to communicate and adapt your communication based on the different needs you encounter.
- As a person, you are positive, engaged, and meticulous.
- It is important that you have a genuine interest in working with individuals with psychiatric issues and want to help develop our operations.
- You master basic medical technical skills at the nursing assistant level.
- You enjoy supervising students and feel comfortable in that role.
- Experience in specialist psychiatric care is an advantage.
Requirements:
- You are a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

Since July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to use the title nursing assistant. Due to national legal requirements, you may receive the title of care assistant in your employment contract.
