Folktandvården Blekinge, with over 300 employees, is part of Region Blekinge. We have 11 general dental clinics throughout the county, from Jämjö in the east to Sölvesborg in the west. Specialist dental care is available in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

About the Job

As a dental hygienist, you will work alongside colleagues in the department to treat and follow up on patients referred for diseases related to teeth and dental implants, as well as implant-related surgery. These are primarily adult patients referred to the clinic for periodontology, but may also include adults and children/youth referred to other specialties within the department. As a dental hygienist with us, you will have very close collaboration with our periodontists.

The position is located in the periodontology clinic, which is currently staffed with two senior dentists, one dental hygienist, two dental nurses, and a shared reception and sterilization area. Work in the department is currently based in Karlskrona, but some duties may be required in Karlshamn as we are building a brand new clinic.

Adjacent to the periodontology department and others, there is also the department for oral surgery, orofacial medicine, dental physiology, and dental radiology.

About You

We are looking for a dental hygienist with a Swedish license who is curious about developing the subject area with us. You have a good ability to build strong relationships with both patients and internal and external colleagues.

We believe that you, just like us, see dental quality as the foundation of the work as a dental hygienist. That you meet all people with understanding, respect, and care, and that you place a high value on good service. We want you to be able to collaborate, work both independently and in a team, and enjoy developing in your work. You are also responsible and take initiative, putting the patient at the center.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. The position is located in Karlskrona, but travel may occur in other parts of the county. Therefore, a B driver's license is required.
