About the Job

We are now looking for property caretakers for Torpa and Robertshöjd who want to create pleasant living environments for our tenants and play a role together with us.

As a property caretaker, you are the face of Bostadsbolaget and have a lot of contact with our tenants. You are responsible for your area and plan your work independently based on the needs of the tenants and the area.

Examples of tasks:

• Meet the ongoing and everyday needs of tenants in their housing with a focus on high service.
• Address service requests by performing certain repairs, coordinating actions in the event of damage, and ordering and inspecting interventions from contractors.
• Actively collaborate with internal and external parties to develop the properties regarding operations and maintenance.
• Have cost responsibility, manage invoices, and participate in budget and forecasting work.
• Contribute to creating a sense of security by collaborating with internal and external parties, such as participating in meetings with tenant associations, conducting social activities for tenants, and similar.

As a property caretaker, you belong to the management department and district Öster, where you report to your area's manager. You collaborate and exchange experiences with your property caretaker colleagues and have close cooperation with other colleagues in your area, such as environmental caretakers, property technicians, and cleaners.

About You

To succeed in the role of property caretaker, you need to have a strong commitment to your work and focus on the customer and the assignment. For you, service is a guiding principle, and you value the social interaction with tenants as well as your unique work environment, our tenants' homes.

We are looking for someone with:

• A property-related education as a property manager, property technician, property caretaker, or equivalent, or you have worked in a related industry within construction, technology, electrical, plumbing, craftsmanship, or similar and can demonstrate equivalent professional skills.
• A valid driver's license (B).
• Computer proficiency.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in the profession or as a carpenter.

As a person, you take your own initiatives and are responsible for ensuring that the work progresses, whether you work alone or together with colleagues. Collaboration is important to you, and by being interested and understanding of others, you contribute to a respectful work climate. About Us

Bostadsbolaget has approximately 25,000 rental apartments distributed across all districts of Gothenburg. This makes us one of Gothenburg's largest landlords and an important part of community and urban development.

We are about 400 people working at Bostadsbolaget. Most work out in our residential areas closest to our tenants, while others work centrally in one of our support functions.
