The home care area is one of three in Frösön and works to provide safe care with good continuity and quality to our citizens. Frösödal has its premises and starting point at Lövsta. In the same building, you will also find the home care group Valla/Mjälle, the area's licensed staff, and unit managers. The position is full-time with the possibility of a lower employment rate. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. A probationary period may apply. Start date is by agreement.

Your New Job

As a nursing assistant or care assistant in home care, you will work with personal care and service in citizens' homes. You will work to promote the physical, mental, and social health of the citizens you assist. Your mission is to support the citizen and facilitate their daily life. You provide personal care based on individual needs and perform delegated health and medical care tasks such as specific care and rehabilitation. You collaborate with nursing assistants, care assistants, district nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, coordinators, and unit managers. Another important part of your duties is to document in our operational systems.

Common Tasks

• Assist citizens with personal hygiene and basic care
• Support during transfers
• Administer medications according to medical delegation and prescription
• Prepare light meals
• Bandaging
• Care for various internal outlets (e.g., urinary catheters or stomas)
• Simple wound dressing
• Care documentation
• Dishes and light cleaning tasks

Your Competence

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in elderly care
• Driver's license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written

Meritorious

• Trained nursing assistant
• Good computer skills
• Experience from municipal health and medical care
• Experience in contact person assignments
