The primary care within Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance care have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded. Within the primary care area, there is a good research climate and it has the status of a university hospital unit. Our R&D unit can assist with support and scientific guidance together with Umeå University.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We offer a work environment with a lower number of registered patients per physician, 1250 patients per physician, with adjustments for side assignments and lower working hours. As a physician with us, you are responsible for your own schedule, as we do not apply fixed visit modules. You thus have the opportunity to control which patients are booked, except for emergency slots. This gives you greater flexibility to adapt your daily schedule according to your own wishes, including administrative time.

These continuing education days contribute to creating a strong general medicine community in the region. In addition, you are offered a place in an FQ group for continuing education and reflection in a group five days a year. Occasional on-call shifts are included in the work, and we strive for an even distribution of these shifts within the area.
