In the assistance unit, we are 13 people consisting of a manager, coordinators, and assistance officers who work to support, strengthen, and develop each other in our assignments.

We always work to put the individual at the center, and together we can make a difference for our municipal residents. Together is an important word in our workplace because the work performed requires that we have good and close collaboration with both internal and external partners. Even though we in the unit sometimes work in different places, we ensure proximity to each other. We have different backgrounds and experiences and see this as a strength to develop each other.

Job Description

In the role of assistance officer, you will ensure legal certainty and participation according to the investigation method IBIC (Individual's Needs in Center). You will also investigate applications, make decisions according to SoL (Social Services Act), and ensure the implementation of decisions.

You will have the opportunity to receive delegation to make decisions for all measures according to SoL except for short-term accommodation and care accommodation. Furthermore, you will participate in the development of the operations. You have an important role with both internal and external partners with the user in focus.

Who We Are Looking For

• You are a social worker or have another equivalent higher education in social care
• Preferably have experience from working in elderly care or other care operations.
• Are development-oriented, creative, and have an interest in social work.
• Are a secure person and have a good ability to communicate with others.
• Value and have good collaboration with others.
• Have a B driver's license as it is part of the role of the assistance officer to make home visits.

About the Employment

This advertisement concerns two positions: a permanent position and a temporary position lasting until May 2027, with the possibility of extension. Both positions are full-time.
